ON MY MIND: SUMMER COATING

I consider the search for a winter coat a horror already, but honestly: the search for some kind of summer coat is the superlative. Other than the winter coat, the coat that 'just' needs to be warm, the summer coat has to fulfill its duty on a range of occassions: during cold nights where you're out and about for a drink, windy/ colder days, while travelling and etc (hence the upcoming of the term 'trans-seasonal'?). And then I haven't even mentioned the issue of aligning the choice of coat with the rest of ones' summer wardrobe. Horror. Currently, this beauty from & Other Stories is on my mind: subtile, minimal and light. 

But then again, options everywhere right? Hence I will be on the hunt for a beautiful coat today, taking a shot at some of the great stores that Valencia has to offer: COS, Sandro and, offcourse, Zara. Will report back to you as soon as I found my ultimate coat. In the mean time: what (kind of) coat do you wear during summer?

Call me a sports' gal: I always enjoy a good intense workout (not so much the muscle pain after) as well as the fashion that comes with it. TAKING A TRIP: VALENCIA

My credo: when in the middle of complex events, take a step back and gain perspective. This is what I will be doing for the next 5 days: taking a step back, getting out of the country and enjoying a fresh environment - also known as Valencia. Take some quiet time, enjoy the lovely city I've discovered last summer and, most important, clear my head. Toes in the sand, so to say! INSPIRATION MONDAY: MONOCHROME MANIA

I don't just love black and white, I love their combination: monochrome outfits often are strong due to the contrast of black and white, yet minimal due to the lack of (other) colors. Hence today an ode to the monochrome in fashion with this editorial from Madame Air France: black, white and a sunny/ blue background. How good can it get? PFW: MIXUP

I had to look up the schedules to notice that Paris Fashionweek wents on until March 5 - unexpected, given that the last three days of shows in Paris alone already provided me with tons of visual inspiration/ ideas for next winter/ etc already. How does one keep track of such a constant stream of fashion? I know I don't, so instead of a clean blogpost with some show/ designer favorites + descriptions, I have something else in store today: a visual dairy, with a mixup of my favorite outfits from all the shows so far. Yes, soak it all in; after all, that's what's fashion is too - so much to see you won't even know where to begin.
