Being quite the newbie in terms of fashion and the fashion industry, Daria Werbowy properly caught my attention for the first time through the September issue of Vogue UK - at last. After that, I noticed her appearance quite a lot and virtually everytime her pictures blow me away .. so did this editorial in Madame Figaro, the November 2013 issue. I would normally put this in the Inspiration Monday category, but as loads of spare time and Pinterest helped me to fill that untill June 2014 and these shots are just too good I couldn't keep them on the low. HIGHLIGHT: LOUISE SIGVARDT

Ever wondered what fashion has in store, even aside from every campaign, runwayshow or editorial we get thrown at us? I did. Realizing that there must be amazing/ gorgeous/ interesting labels and brands outside the spotlights triggered me to introduce this new blogcategory, named 'HIGHLIGHT'. In here, labels/ brands/ initiatives are presented that not yet have generated that much spotlight but, in my view, are worth talking about. 

The first post is dedicated to Louise Sigvardt, a Danish designer I stumbled across when reading Fashion Scandinavia (click to see) and immediately caught my eye with with the raw (industrial) edge and the (in my view quite) remarkable use of fabrics. INSPIRATION MONDAY: STYLEBY

The Dutch have too few when it comes to fashion magazines, causing me to turn to the international alternatives regularly. One of my favorites is the Swedish STYLEBY Magazine, founded by Elin Kling. This Inspiration Monday captures an editorial from their July 2013 issue, titled 'Fall in Love' and presenting some of the finest Fall 2013 collections. What's not to love? TEAM WHAT? (LPD NEW YORK)

I'm a fan of number tees, but as I'm quite the demanding type I didn't get my hands on one just yet. However, that will possibly change with the help of LPD New York, as I'm obsessed with their approach to digits - combining them with one's favorite designer. Hence, the tees are more than just numbers .. better yet, some team spirit. Which team I'm on, you ask? I'm afraid I'm the transferring type, preferably between team Philo, team Margiela, team Simons and team van Noten.
